Dead baby found in the snow in Tama County

State agents and the Tama County Sheriff are investigating the discovery of a dead baby in the east-central Iowa town of Chelsea. The body was clad only in a scarf and was found in the snow Sunday morning by a woman walking her dog. Sheriff Dennis Kucera is putting out a plea for someone to come forward with information on the case.An autopsy will be performed today. Authorities have not released the sex or approximate age of the child.
