The city of Davenport is considering an ordinance to put tighter regulations on sexual entertainment businesses.The ordinance would require employees at the businesses to obtain work I-Ds after a criminal background check. The I-Ds could cost up to 100-dollars. Police say the ordinance is needed to crack down on crimes associated with such businesses, like prostitution and drug dealing.
