Your Valentine’s Day gift can be a song

February 10, 2001 By admin

If you’re looking to serenade your sweet on Valentine’s Day, the Drake Choir ensemble has a treat for your Valentine. Choir members will deliver singing valentines and flowers in the Des Moines metro-area from 10 a-m ’til eight p-m February 14th. The “Singing Valentine” project is a fundraiser for Drake’s touring choir. Choral director Aimee Beckmann-Collier says time is running out to order a package. The “True Romantic” package is 20-dollars and comes with a single rose and song. The “Cupid’s Favorite” is 30-dollars, and includes a half dozen roses and a song. Only 100 singing valentines can be delivered. Call (515) 271-2841 or 271-3024 by Monday to order your package.
