Mason City authorities are investigating Friday’s death of a boy who was being restrained while a resident at a center for children with behavioral and psychological disorders. According to a statement released by Gerard of Iowa, 11-year-old Tanner James Wilson died at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa after becoming unresponsive Friday afternoon following the holding.
