Iowans who want to buy a dozen roses for that someone special today will have to pay a premium price. Tim Huff, who runs a Webster City flower shop, says his Valentine’s Day rose prices haven’t changed in a few years. His price is 60 dollars per dozen, more if you want a vase.While 60-dollars a dozen sounds high, some flower buyers feared the prices would be even higher, given the bounding cost of heating which is having an impact on Iowa greenhouses — along with everyone else.
