Learn to feed the world, while in high school. That’s the call the World Food Prize Foundation is issuing to Iowa high schoolers. The three-day World Food Prize Youth Institute’s coming up in October.World Food Prize president Kenneth Quinn says in addition, the Foundation gives scholarships to students for internships in another country. Bian Li, a senior at Ankeny High School, did her eight-week-long internship in Kenya. She says she would love to do another internship.The quarter-million dollar World Food Prize is given annually to recognize researchers or ag industry leaders who’ve helped feed the world.
