Drake and UNI women face key Valley contests

The Drake women host Bradley tonight in their first game since gaining the top spot in the Missouri Valley Conference. They play in-state rival Northern Iowa on Saturday. Drake senior Kristin Santa says they need to win both games.Santa says they have to play like a team that’s being chased.Drake is 18-4 overall and 13-1 in the Valley.The Northern Iowa women look to close out the regular season strong. Junior Abbi Schutte says the Panthers have recovered after a recent slide.UNI travels to Creighton tonight. The Panthers are 15-7 overall and 10-4 in the Missouri Valley.
