Stock market gives bumpy ride

Shell-shocked investors have had to deal with a dipping stock market the past two days. The NASDAQ composite is hovering at its lowest level in two years. Mason City financial consultant Chris Connnelly says stocks tumbled after inflation figures came out yesterday.He says today’s report on jobless claims will not help the situation.Connelly says investors will probably take a “wait-and-see” attitute toward the market.The NASDAQ yesterday dropped to its lowest close since March of 1999. It’s now nearly 56-percent below its all-time high in March of last year.
