This morning 28 medical supplies will be shipped to the South American country of Peru from Webster City. Doug Baily and his son McKinley are the people behind project “Peno”, coronated by the Webster City Rotary Club. Baily says the project began in January of 1998.Baily said the one thing the Peno medical facility needed was a mammogram machine. The country’s only mammogram machine is located in the capital city of Lima – a 15 hour bus ride away. In addition to the mammogram machine, Baily said the local Rotarians will be shipping additional medical supplies. The equipment is expected to arrive in Peno late next month.
