Two dead bodies found in Des Moines

February 26, 2001 By admin

Des Moines police are searching for clues after two bodies were found in a home on the southwest side of the city. Sergeant Bruce Elrod is a spokesman for the department. He says a couple of acquaintances went to the house to check on the men around 10 this morning and found them dead. Elrod says the men were white and it appears the men had been dead for a while, as their bodies were starting to decompose. Elrod says officers had to wait for a search warrant to continue the investigation. They got that warrant around 2:30 p-m.Elrod says they don’t yet have a positive identification of the men or any idea about how they may’ve died.
