A northeast Iowa nursing home is facing a fine after a resident was injured. The Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals is fining the Cresco Care Center three thousand dollars after a resident fell and broke her leg. State officials say only one center worker helped the resident and there should’ve been two. Officials at the Cresco Care Center say they’re investigating the accident and may appeal the fine.
