A new exhibit that opens an eye to deep space is drawing visitors from all across eastern Iowa and western Illinois. The Bettendorf Family Museum of Arts and Science is hosting a Smithsonian Institute show on the Hubble Space Telescope, honoring its ten years in orbit.Museum spokeswoman Linda Hall says the Hubble exhibit is full of big colorful pictures which the large orbiting telescope was able to capture from far above the Earth’s cloudy, cluttered atmosphere.Hall says the exhibit has been drawing very large crowds and rave reviews for its unusual and spectacular photographs of planets, stars, galaxies and other heavenly bodies.The Bettendorf museum is open seven days a week. The exhibit is scheduled to be there through May 6th.
