Ottumwa man caught after chase

March 5, 2001 By admin

A high-speed chase Saturday night involved a wanted man and two law enforcement agencies — and left five people hurt. 32-year-old Quintin Polson, of Ottumwa, was driving. He was wanted on a parole violation and allegedly ran a roadblock and a stop sign. Near Ottumwa, he collided with a van from Missouri, injuring three people in the van. Polson and a passenger in his car, 16-year-old Jason Ehrman of Ottumwa, were hurt. The Highway Patrol and the Wapello County Sheriff are investigating.
