Iowa legislators are updating Iowa law to crack down on “sexual deviants” who prey on kids, via the Internet. Representative George Eichhorn of Stratford says porn that “morphs” a child’s electronic image into a sexually explicit picture will be clearly illegal if the bill becomes law.Eichhorn says the bill also increases the penalty for trying to entice a minor under the age of 13 to a commit a sex act.The bill also cracks down on out-of-state pedophiles who go into computer chat rooms and lure Iowa children into deviant behavior. The bill’s expected to pass the Senate, too. It was requested by the Attorney General.
