Deadline looms for bills in the legislature

A deadline looms Friday for action on bills in the legislature. A bill must have cleared a committee in either the House or Senate, or it’s dead for the year. House Republican Leader Christopher Rants of Sioux City says none of the G-O-P’s priorities are endangered. He says everything is on track except for a bill to raise the speed limit.Several bills are set for committee action this week.
