MIssing Mason City anchorwoman’s family wants to settle her estate

March 28, 2001 By admin

The family of a missing Mason City TV anchorwoman wants to start settling her estate. A petition has been filed in Cerro Gordo County District Court to start administering the estate of Jodi Huisentruit. Huisentruit’s family says the petition filed this week is a legal formality that they need to do to start taking care of some family things involving Huisentruit. Huisentruit disappeared in the early morning hours of June 27, 1995, and was believed to have been abducted while getting ready to go to work. District Judge James Drew has set a hearing on the matter for April 23rd.
