Three employees of a juvenile mental health facility in Mason City have been fired after a boy was allegedly tied up. The 12-year-old says a 20-year-old counselor tied him up for a game of “escape.” The boy wasn’t hurt. The Gerard of Iowa center is under investigation after an 11-year-old boy died while being restrained in February.
