Warm weather leads to open golf courses

Avid golfers across the state are finally getting their wish as golf courses open after the long winter. One of the latest to open is the Jester Park course near Des Moines. Dick Lane, the head pro at Jester, says tee times are filling up quickly as golfers take advantage of the break in the weather. Lane says the late start means courses have taken a financial hit but it is not a big concern at this point.
