Strikes shouldn’t keep you from striking out on vacation

April 9, 2001 By admin

With airline strikes looming this summer, travel could be “up in the air” for some Iowans. But Des Moines travel agent Annette Modlin says you shouldn’t put your summer get-away plans on hold. Modlin says the currently there have been few problems for summer travel. Modlin says Delta Airlines is currently causing some headaches for travelers, but the travelers have been re-accommodated on other airlines. Modlin recommends purchasing “E-Tickets” to avoid complications. Modlin says this summer should not be any different from previous summers. Modlin says as of right now, potential strikes have not affected summer travel.
