UNI coach makes adjustments on the run

April 9, 2001 By admin

One week after taking over the Northern Iowa football program, Panther coach Mark Farley says he is trying to settle into the job. Farley was named the new U-N-I coach last week just two days before the start of spring drills. Farley says much of time has been dedicated to things off the field. He says you only get one chance to make a first impression, and he wants to make sure things are done right. Farley says he is stressing attitude during spring drills. He says if his players want to be the best, they have to live on the edge.
