MIssing Cresco woman found dead

April 11, 2001 By admin

The search for a missing Cresco woman has ended in tragedy. The body of 19-year-old Sara Laub was found yesterday morning near rural Lourdes in Howard County. Laub, who was a student at Luther College in Decorah, was reported missing Thursday by her mother, who says Laub was depressed. Her body was found at three-eighths of a mile from where her van had been discovered Monday. Howard County officials say they do NOT suspect foul play. An autopsy will be performed today to determine how Laub died.
