April 12, 2001 By admin

A former minister from Oxford Junction is charged with having sexual contact with a child. 32-year-old Douglas Popejoy was allegedly seen lying naked in January with a nude five-year-old. Reports say Popejoy confessed to his church supervisor and resigned as pastor of the Oxford Junction Assembly of God Church before his arrest in February. He’ll be arraigned April 20th.
