Two injured in Dubuque robbery

April 12, 2001 By admin

A robbery and shooting in Dubuque last night left a Manchester woman and a Marion man critically hurt. 34-year-old Deanna Johnson and 41-year-old Ronald Morman were in a parked truck at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds when a gunman forced them out of the car and shot them, stole Johnson’s purse, then fled. Authorities have charged 36-year-old Jerry Cole of Dubuque with robbery and two counts of attempted murder. Both victims were shot in the head.
