New trial set in Oskaloosa abuse case

April 17, 2001 By admin

An Oskaloosa man accused of child abuse will get a second trial. 23-year-old Clarence Yoe, Junior will be back in court starting June 25th.Yoe was found guilty in December of physically abusing his girlfriend’s son, two-year-old Frank Charbonneau, Junior. The toddler’s 21-year-old mother, Miranda Charbonneau, pled guilty to allowing the abuse. The conviction was thrown out earlier this year as a jury determined Charbonneau’s testimony was not reliable.
