The trial of an Eldon man has ended in a conviction. 32-year-old Kenny Christopher Hemm was found guilty of first-degree murder and second-degree arson in the death of Larry Pippenger of Ottumwa. The jury found Hemm guilty of dismembering Pippenger’s body and setting it on fire inside a car in April of last year. Sentencing for Hemm has been set for May 14th.
