UNI faces key MVC series

Northern Iowa hosts Wichita State tonight to open a key Missouri Valley Conference baseball series. The Panthers are 11-9 in the Valley while the Shockers are looking to continue their dominance in the league race.Panther coach Rick Heller says it is always fun to take on the champions. U-N-I will look to get off to a good start by sending ace Nick Ungs to the mound for tonight’s opener. With the weather getting warmer Heller feels it will be a good chance to draw a lot of fans to the game.
