The Animal Rescue League of Iowa just made it easier to adopt a pet. League spokesperson Heather Starr says with their new website, animal lovers can use a mouse to catch a dog.Starr says the nine-to-five workday sometimes makes it difficult for potential pet owners to make it to animal shelters. She says the new website is more convenient and shortens the time it takes to find a pet.The website features about 50 pets right now, ranging from birds and rodents – to dogs and cats.The Animal Rescue League is the largest animal shelter is Iowa.
