One dead, one injured in Davenport shooting

A Bettendorf man is dead and a Davenport women is in the hospital following a shooting in Davenport. Police say they arrived at a southeast side home and found a man and woman with gunshot wounds. 57-year-old Charles Singleton died at a local hospital, from a gunshot wound to the head. 49-year-old Patsy Houston is in fair condition with a gunshot wound to the head. Police have found a weapon, but are trying to sort out what led up to the shooting. Police says Houston did have a restraining order against Singleton.
