Upper Iowa seeks to gain ground in conference race

Upper Iowa looks to bring Wartburg back to pack in the Iowa Conference race when the Peacocks host the Knights in a doubleheader today. At 10-2, Wartburg is two games in front of the Peacocks in the loss column and Upper Iowa coach Mark Danker says they are without question the team to beat.Danker says his team needs to avoid it’s up and down play to make a run at the title.Six teams make the upcoming conference tournament and Danker says apart from the top seed it appears like it will be pretty even.
