April 25, 2001 By admin

A southeast Iowa man’s accused of abusing his former girlfriend’s child. Forty-two-year-old Mark Forrest Lyle of Sigourney was charged with sexual abuse this morning. He’s accused of “inappropriately touching” a child from Grinnell who’s under the age of 12. Police say the abuse occurred on March 30th when Lyle and the child’s mother were in a relationship and living together. Lyle faces up to two years in prison and a five thousand-dollar fine if convicted.
