Clarke hopes for good start in softball tourney

The Clarke College softball team opens the Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference tournament tomorrow at Concordia of Illinois. The Crusaders have finished the season on a hot streak and figure to be one of the contenders. Coach Tina Kuhle says Benedictine University may be the team to beat.Kuhle says momentum plays a big part in a conference tournament. She says it was a key last year to win the first game as they won the first game and made it all the way to the championship.
