Four men sentenced in Hamilton County drug case

Four central Iowa men are going to prison for their involvement in a meth-making operation in the Hamilton County town of Jewel. 47-year-old Johnny Makedonski, 41-year old Davide Laube, both of rural Hamilton County, along with 40-year old Kenneth Price of Des Moines and 37-year-old Kelly Horning of Ames all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine. Makedonski was sentenced to 46 months in federal prison, Laube to 68 months and Price to 78 months. Horning was given two years probation.
