A Monona man remains in jail after a weekend chase with police. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Department says 22-year-old Shane Stickler tried to run over two deputies north of Elkader early Saturday. Stickler then led deputies on a high-speed chase at speeds over 100 miles-an-hour. During the chase deputies say Stickler lost control and ran into an Elkader police officer. The officer was not seriously hurt. Stickler was eventually forced off the road and faces three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, eluding police and drunk driving.
