The girls state track meet closed with some thrilling team races and several records. The Williamsburg four by 800 relay team became the first to win five consecutive state championships. Beth Neal ran the second leg for Williamsburg which had three seniors on the relay. She says the margin of victory has gotten smaller each year.Neal says they knew what was at stake going into the race, which made them a little nervous.
