Graduation had special meaning at North Fayette High School in West Union Sunday. 18-year-old Lindsay Thomas was released from University Hospitals & Clinics just in time to attend her graduation, after being trapped in her wrecked car for five days and hospitalized for nearly four weeks. It was an emotional day for Thomas, who received a bouquet of flowers from her principal, along with a standing ovation from her classmates and the others in attendance. Thomas is expected to return to the hospital soon for more medical treatment. Her classmates have set up a fund to help with her recovery.
