Two charged after Waterloo man dies

May 30, 2001 By admin

Two Waterloo men are facing drug charges after a third man died of an apparent drug overdose. Police say 47-year-old William Beltran of Waterloo died at a Waterloo Hospital Monday. Waterloo police got a search warrant following Beltran’s death, and arrested 37-year-old Richard Richbow for possession with intent to deliver heroin. Thirty-seven-year-old Tyrone Flemming was also arrested for possession of heroin. Police say they seized drugs in the arrest. The exact cause of Beltran’s death is still pending the results of an autopsy.
