Delaware County officials solve thefts

Delaware County authorities have recovered six truckloads of stolen property and a possible meth lab.The sheriff’s department followed up on a tip of a stolen trailer and found the trailer at the home of 47-year-old James Mangold Junior in Ryan. Officers also found property reported stolen from Scott, Jones, Delaware and Linn County. The trailer been reported stolen in March. The search also uncovered an l-p tank filled with anhydrous ammonia used to make meth and 25 marijuana plants. Mangold was charged with possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver and possession with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine. Mangold was release on his promise to appear in court.
