UNI-Dome repairs will take longer than expected

There will be another delay in the repair of the roof of the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.UNI officials say the Dome will be open for the first football game on August 30th. But officials say they’ll need to close the building again in March for more work. UNI has a lawsuit pending against three companies which replaced the roof of the facility in 1998, claiming there were several defects in the work.
