Oskaloosa woman won’t take order on chairs sitting down

An Oskaloosa woman has been ordered to remove a variety of chairs from her front yard — or face a fine of up to 500-dollars-a-day. Oskaloosa’s city attorney says he’s never known anyone to defy a city order to remove junk from their front yard — until now. The attorney’s wife, Elaine Beck, says the chairs are art, and her husband agrees.
