Two die in accident

June 11, 2001 By admin

A couple from northern Iowa died, and a woman and her baby were injured in a Sunday afternoon traffic accident east of Sanborn. Twenty-eight-year-old Tanya Brown of Hawarden was going west on Highway 18 when she crossed the centerline and collided with a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Gail Bailey of Rowen. Bailey and her 59-year-old husband, Lynn, both died in the crash. Brown was flown by helicopter to a Sioux City hospital. Her one-year-old daughter, Payton, received minor injuries and was taken to a hospital in nearby Sheldon.
