Clear-Creek Amana continues softball success

Success is nothing new for the Clear Creek-Amana high school softball team. The Clippers are off to a good start again this season, with a record of 14-0 and a second-place ranking in class 2A.Clipper coach Jim White, says some of their early victories have come against the top programs in the state.Clear Creek-Amana has been known for power hitting in the past and White says this team is scoring a lot of runs again this year. But, he says they’re scoring more runs with speed this year.On the mound, the Clippers are led by Jackie Sorensen, who’s 10-0 and has been an All-State since she was an eighth grader.
