Cedar Falls Bank Robbed

June 15, 2001 By admin

Cedar Falls Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning. At about 10:45 this morning, a man entered the bank, handed the teller a note, displayed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of money. He’s described as white, six-foot tall, 180 pounds, with a dark baseball cap, blue jacket, blue pants and black shoes. A bank in Des Moines was robbed today, too. It’s the third time this year that particular branch of the U-S Bank has been robbed.
