Republican Congressman Tom Latham of Alexander is keeping mum about hispolitical future. New political maps to be approved next week by the IowaLegislature throw Latham into a new congressional district that stretchesfrom Storm Lake to Decorah and dips south to Winterset and Indianola. Muchof Latham’s current district is in a new western Iowa district that covers 32counties. Latham’s not yet saying he’ll move into that new fifth districtand run again for Congress.
