Lucky the Duck has come home to roost in Davenport. The yellow, 20-foot inflatable duck had been calling attention to a charity duck race until he was snatched from his perch at a Davenport intersection. Lucky was rescued when someone saw him, and reported it to a radio station. The mascot was found on a tennis court at a Davenport home. Police say the duck napping was a case of “foul play,” not a hoax. The cops believe kids may have lifted Lucky as a prank. A replacement duck would have cost Lucky’s owners a six thousand dollar bill.
