Waterloo police investigate shooting

Waterloo police are trying to sort out an early morning shooting that left a teen wounded.Police were called out around two a-m on a report of “shots being fired” and received another such call while investigating the first. Police later learned a 15-year-old was being treated for a gunshot wound at a local hospital. The victim has been identified as Walter Hoskins the fourth of Waterloo. Police say Hoskins was wounded in both arms, but the wounds don’t appear to be life threatening. No arrests have been made.
