Truckers gather in Eastern Iowa

As the song says, “Looks like we’ve got us a convoy…” and all of those semi-trucks are heading for eastern Iowa.The Iowa-80 Truck Stop, at Interstate 80’s Walcott interchange, is hosting its 22nd annual Trucker’s Jamboree. It runs through 9 tonight. More than 100 restored trucks are on display along with dozens of new big rigs and hundreds of other over-the-road vehicles. There’s a super-truck beauty contest and a “ten-four, good buddy” attitude.
