Iowa Games open tonight

The Iowa Games annual summer sports festival begins tonight in Ames. Opening ceremonies are tonight in Jack Trice Stadium and executive director Jim Hallihan says there are a handful of sports that will offer on-site registration over the weekend. You can find out more information at www.Iowagames.org. Hallihan expects more competitors than a year ago since there weren’t soccer regionals held this year.Hallihan says the events continues to draw competitors from across the state, from the largest to the smallest counties.
