A golf tournament, a local festival and the state’s largest bike ride are making Sioux City a busy place this weekend. Mayor Marty Dougherty says the events are good for the city. One estimate says the golf tournament, festival and start of RAGBRAI will bring one-point-eight million dollars into the city. Dougherty is asking residents to help the “out-of-towners.”RAGBRAI begins its trek across the state tomorrow in Sioux City, while the golf tournament and Rivercade festival wrap up.
