Iowa’s private colleges are looking to lure in students this week. Twenty-nine private colleges and universities across the state are taking part in Iowa Private College Week today through Friday. Kathleen Gannon of the Iowa Association of Independent Colleges and Universities says the schools are each holding open houses to show off their institutions.Gannon says the colleges will have special “passports” available that will give students that visit a private college free registration.To find out more about private colleges you can go to: www.dontbeanumber.com.
