Woodbury County’s Treasurer names best in the nation

Woodbury County Treasurer Bob Knowler has been named the Best Treasurer in the U-S by the National Association of County Treasurers. He was nominated by the county board of supervisors and by colleagues in the state association. Knowler says his office has undergone a lot of changes since he was first elected six-and-a-half years ago.Knowler says he’s worked to make the treasurer’s office efficient and says he’s tried to make changes for the better.Knowler also moved the Motor Vehicle office out of the courthouse basement to the Trosper-Hoyt building which boosted morale and raised efficiency.
